From the Heads of Secondary
Term 4 - Week 5
As we step into Week 5, it's evident that the anticipation for exams is building. This pivotal time of the academic year calls for a thoughtful approach to ensure every student can finish the year on a high note. It’s important that each of our students prepares well for their end of year exams. This will help them to complete the year with confidence.
We encourage students to approach their studies with a growth mindset, recognising that intelligence and abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. Embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, and believing in their capacity to learn and improve.
Another key thing is to remember the importance of balance. Allocating time not only for study, but also for relaxation, exercise, and activities that bring joy. A balanced lifestyle contributes to a healthy mind and body.
With perseverance, a positive outlook, and a commitment to their studies, students are well-equipped to navigate the exam season and bring this academic year to a successful close.
We are reminded of the words in Hebrews 12:1,
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (NIV)
We look forward to sharing in the many end of year celebrations following the exam period.
