General news

This November, Max from Year 2 is excited to take part in his first charity challenge - ‘Swim for Sick Kids’ to support sick and injured kids staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney. Max is hoping to raise funds to keep sick kids and their families together as they go through the toughest time of their lives.

Every dollar raised will go toward supporting families staying at the House. To ensure they have a network of support through other families, staff and volunteers. Access to the hospital which is a quick 5-minute walk away, a kitchen full of food, with meals cooked 3 times a week, access to the family rooms when staying on ward, in-house education support by qualified teachers and FREE accommodation so families can focus on their sick child.

This morning Max got up at 5:30am and swam 650m at the leisure centre before school. Max is so dedicated to this challenge & is aiming to swim 10km in November and raise as much money as be possible. To support Max on his swim, please follow the link.
