Project One - Community Clothes Drive

Did you know that over 122,000 people in Australia are homeless?

For the month of November we will be having a Clothes Drive, in support of charities that help homeless people. The clothes provided will be donated to Op-Shops. If you'd like to donate any old clothes, please bring them in a bag to Miss Fusinato in the 400 Health office.

Project Two - EDSC Movember

Men’s mental health is one of the leading issues in Australia. 43% of males aged 16-85 report suffering from a mental disorder at some point in their lifetime. That’s why as a community we should be aware and supportive of our peers. You never know whether your friend, teacher or family is experiencing a bump in their life.

Help join us in raising funds for Movember. Movember is an organisation that raises funds and awareness for not only men’s mental health but also the prevention of suicide, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. So please donate to either just Movember or someone who is participating at: https://au.movember.com

Select students in the VM class will be participating in Movember this year, what this means is that they will be going clean shaven at the start of November and growing out their moustache till the end of the month to raise awareness.

How can you make a change? Grow your own moustache and raise funds for the cause or you can also donate to another person, team or straight to the organisation.
