APSMO Maths Olympiad

We are thrilled to congratulate the 44 Year 7 ALPHA students who participated in the APSMO Maths Olympiad this year. Both our teams, 7C and 7J, were placed in the top 20% of teams across Australia. 15 of our students obtained a top 10% achiever award, and 12 students obtained a top 25% achiever award.  

In particular, we would like to highlight the outstanding achievement of Kingsley and Theo. 

Kingsley was awarded the highest individual scorer trophy for the 7J team. Theo, who achieved a perfect score for the competition, was the highest scorer in 7C and one of the 67 perfect scorers out of 13,978 students who participated in the Senior Division this year. This remarkable achievement places him among the top 0.48% of participants. Well done, Kingsley and Theo, your accomplishments inspire us all.
