Indonesian 

Hai semua (Hi everyone)!

This term in Indonesian we are focusing on:

Foundation:

Greeting people at different times of the day (good morning, good afternoon, etc.);

Grade 1 and 2:

Naming and describing items of clothing. This includes school uniforms and everyday household items;

Grade 3 and 4:

Hobbies and games. This includes learning words to describe likes and dislikes for themselves and their friends;

Grade 5 and 6:

Rainforest animals. This includes describing reasons for animal endangerment and learning related Indonesian vocabulary. 

For the whole school, the second half of the term will be spent exploring cultural aspects of the country of Indonesia, such as music, puppets, clothing and food.
