Term 3 Library Highlights
Term 3 has been a busy time in the library. The annual Book Fair and Book Parade were key events, along with author visits that provided valuable learning experiences for students. The library has also become a hub for interest groups, attracting increasing student participation each week.
Book Club donations have reached over $1,000, up from approximately $350 at the start of the year. Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative.
Friday mornings are now dedicated to the Debating Club, and the newly introduced Star Room offers additional learning opportunities for students.
Thank you to all library monitors and volunteers whose efforts contribute significantly to the smooth running of the library.
Spend the School Holidays at a Library
Willoughby City Library is offering a range of activities during the school holidays at their various locations. These include workshops, story times, craft sessions, and interactive events designed to support creativity and learning.
Families are encouraged to explore what their local library offers during the holidays. Libraries provide opportunities for children to develop skills, socialise, and discover new stories.
