Festival of Instrumental Music

Five of our advanced string musicians performed at the Festival of Instrumental Music on Thursday evening, joining hundreds of students from schools around the state on the Sydney Opera House stage. Congratulations to these students on their selection for the combined strings group, and for their diligence in preparing to perform pieces from memory.

As summarised by the Department of Education Arts Unit, the festival provides the opportunity for schools to access and perform quality repertoire curated for students in a world class venue. We are very fortunate to be able to participate, and appreciate Miss Ko and the parents and carers for making it possible. Thank you Ms Tabolkina for her work in conducting FOIM rehearsals with the group.
