Students from our school have recently undertaken an education tour of the national capital. Students were given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage, and democracy.
The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding to our school in the amount of $30 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program towards those costs which was deducted from the student's total payment. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion.

Inclusive Hub students had a wonderful experience during their visit to Taronga Zoo this week. They enjoyed engaging bird and seal shows and participated in a hands-on animal workshop led by the knowledgeable zoo teachers. The excursion provided a great opportunity for students to practice their independent skills in a fun and supportive environment. A heartfelt thank you to the sponsors, Chatswood RSL, for their generous support in making this memorable experience possible.
Thank you to the parent volunteers for their support.

This week, children from Sandcastles Childcare visited CPS for a kindergarten transition morning. They enjoyed meeting and interacting with our current kindergarten class, touring the school, and strengthening the wonderful relationship between Sandcastles and CPS. We look forward to continuing this partnership and welcoming new students in the future!
