Caring Learning Growing: Every Child Every Day
Dear Families,
There is no doubt that we are ready for it to be the last week of the term. As I have said, the level of illness over the last week is something I have never seen in over 30 years of teaching.
There are still many unwell children and staff, so please continue to keep unwell children at home.
My thanks to the staff who have ensured that learning has continued as usual for the children here at school.
We are all well and truly ready for the holidays.
Congratulations to all our Grade 3/4 children who participated in Hooptime last Friday. They were great sports and represented the school with pride. Our boys' team made the Grand Final and played with grit and determination. Our girls' side also made it to the Grand Final, emerging as winners and advancing to the next level. Our mixed side played with enthusiasm and had a great day.
Thank you to the families who joined me for a building update. It is such an exciting project, and we are looking forward to getting started. We are just about ready to go to tender.
Thank you to everyone for another amazing term. There is no doubt that we have the best group of kids, and all our staff are so incredibly committed to ensuring our school is a place of learning and love.
I wish everyone an enjoyable break.
Stay safe and most of all stay well.
We look forward to seeing you all in Term 3.
Louise
