On the 3rd December 1967 our College opened up the wonderful additional class rooms, science laboratories and senior dormitories at the front of the school. Built by Burton and Cashman, the first floor comprised the most up to date science labs. The second floor where class rooms and the top floor was for seniors sleeping quarters. My big brother George stay there when he was in 6th Form and I remember visiting and was impressed with the great views.
The building was opened by the most reverend Bishop Doody and hundreds of students, families and Armidale residents came to watch and tour the building at the time.
The building changes of the time including adding another walkway on the top floor in 1989 and closing on the breezeway in the middle of the first floor.
