Year 12 Students Explore Their Futures at the Western Sydney Careers Expo
On Friday 27 June, 100 of our Year 12 students attended the Western Sydney Careers Expo, an exciting opportunity to explore life beyond school.
Held at Sydney Showground, the event brought together a wide range of exhibitors including universities, TAFE colleges, employers, apprenticeship providers, and international exchange organisations. Students were able to speak directly with career counsellors and representatives from various institutions, gaining valuable insights into pathways available after the HSC.
In addition to visiting stalls, students attended seminars covering key topics such as tertiary course options, career planning, HSC subject selection, study skills, and gap year opportunities. The event was an excellent way for students to connect with experts, ask questions, and gather resources to support their future decisions.
It was a valuable and engaging experience that helped our students feel more informed and confident as they plan their next steps beyond high school.
