GATE Visual Arts Saturday Workshops – A Creative Journey in Progress

This semester, students in the Applecross SHS GATE Visual Arts Saturday workshop program have been diving deep into a range of exciting creative disciplines. Under the expert guidance of our talented tutors—who are all practising artists, designers, and artisans—students have explored ceramics, fashion design, lino block printmaking, stagecraft, painting, drawing, resin jewellery, and CMYK screen printing.

In this sneak peek from the storeroom, we see some of these artworks prints in progress, showcasing the students’ growing skills and artistic flair. From bold colour palettes to intricate designs, these works reflect the skills and imagination that fill our Saturday sessions. We look forward to sharing the final pieces with you later this year!
