Student Voice: Year 11 Reflects on Our Fundraiser for UNICEF
Year 11 Reflections on Our Fundraiser for UNICEF
Last Friday, our school community came together for a Free Dress Day and Bake Sale to raise funds for UNICEF and it was a huge success! It was great to see so many students and staff getting involved, whether that meant digging out a gold coin for the donation box, baking something sweet, or rocking a fun outfit for the day.
We officially raised the most money from a free dress day and bake sale in years. Thanks to your incredible effort, we collected a total of $1791 raised for UNICEF.
UNICEF supports children around the world by providing clean water, access to education, emergency supplies, life-saving vaccines, and protection from violence and exploitation. They work in over 190 countries to help ensure every child has the right to a safe, healthy, and hopeful future. Knowing that our efforts go towards such an important cause made the day feel even more meaningful.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed, your generosity and school spirit have shown just how powerful our community can be when we come together for a great cause.
