Refugee Week at NHS

As part of Refugee Week, Northcote High was privileged to host Dalal Saleiman from the Refugee Council of Australia. Dalal shared her inspiring journey from Iraq to Australia and spoke with students and staff about her ongoing work supporting refugees and asylum seekers in our community.

Her story of resilience, advocacy and leadership left a lasting impact and reminded us of the importance of compassion and connection.

This week also saw a successful food drive for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, with students and staff donating generously to support those in need.
