Before and After School Care
Before-School Care and After-School Care is available each weekday, with the following hours of operation:
Before School Care: 7:00 am – 8:45 am
After School Care: 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Term Two has been a vibrant tapestry of movement, creativity, and heartfelt connections in our Before and After School Care program. Each week, we've embraced a new theme, offering children opportunities to explore, celebrate, and imagine.
Over the past six weeks, our OSHC program has been bursting with excitement, creativity, and joy! From self-care sessions to hands-on science experiments and plenty of children's choice activities, every day has brought something new.
To celebrate the end of term, we handed the reins to the children – and what a magical week it's been! A week full of their favourite games and experiences. We’ve played endless rounds of dodgeball, run epic LEGO competitions, and said “yes” to every idea they brought forward. This week, we truly embraced the essence of childhood – imagination, laughter, and boundless fun!

We are ramping up the fun this seaon with some Super-Charged Excursions. Some of our top Super excursions yet with Ninja Zones, Disney on Ice and Monopoly Dreams!
From Ninja Zones to Disneys Elio at the movies, we will keep you warm and toasy indoors. We have action packed the Winter program with lots of active indoor venues.
Clip n Climb, Musical Incursions such as laser tag, dream city, claymation, junior survivor and comando kids, along with on point themed In House Days like super heros, Winter and sitting in NAIDOC week we will be celebrating with the 2025 theme ' The next generation', there is something for everyone!

Just a quick reminder that the service opens at 7 am. If you arrive early, you unfortunately will not be allowed in until 7 am. Sorry for any inconvenience :)
Please note we do not collect students from Year One and above. Please remind your child/ren of afterschool care when you drop them off in the morning.
Foundation students do get dropped off and picked up for Term One and Two but come Term Three, a list is sent of the children attending to Mrs Damn and Mrs Peters. The children walk themselves over with educators supervising the basketball court.

Oriane has recently been promoted to be 2ic at Upwey south TheirCare. she has been working with the company for a bout a year and studying to be a teacher. Oriane will be working alongside Lily every day and be stepping up in the absence of Lily. Oriane has a super unique set of skills, being amazing at fine jewellery making. She has already been welcomed so wonderfully by the children, with them nicknaming her OREO.

Staffing arrangements often change due to the needs of the service and growing numbers, there will be some new faces, but we understand consistency is important in building connections and creating a strong sense of wellbeing for our children.
If you have a child in Foundation or wish to start attending our fantastic program in 2025 you can register at TheirCare now. Booking is not available as of yet, but I will keep you updated. It is always best to book for OSCH as far in advance as possible, to ensure we have the proper staffing ratio needed for the safety of our service.
In order to run an effective and personalized program, we rely on community involvement. The easiest way for us to ensure we are catering to the needs of your children and family is through suggestions and feedback. Please don't hesitate to speak to me directly or leave a note in our feedback box with any concerns or ideas for the service. We love hearing anything that can help us exceed.
In order to access the OSHC service, families must register prior to booking. During the registration process, you will be asked to provide details such as emergency contacts, medical requirements, dietary needs, etc.
While booking, please remember that last-minute booking can create a hard time for staffing. Please try to book 24 hours in advance, and if needed, call the service for last-minute bookings to ensure space is available.
