Junior School Highlights

Multi Age STEM Day
On Thursday 14 May, our Junior School enjoyed a fabulous day of physics, with a First Nations perspective. Our STEM teaching team of Ms Katrina Watson, Ms Ai Lin Ho and Mr Greg Hellard coordinated an inspiring and curiosity-sparking day of hands-on activities involving the physical forces of push, pull and twist. We were excited to welcome back for a second year Sean and Ronan from First Nations Incursions, who guided our students to throw boomerangs and play Marn Grook. A glorious day of memory-making was had by all!

Junior Art Club
Students in the Junior Art Club have been getting their hands dirty while exploring ceramics and sculpture. Using two pinch pots, they created hollow frog bodies before carefully joining the pieces together. Students then added personality and character to their frogs by sculpting eyes, mouths, legs, and other creative details.
Well done, Art Club students — the frog sculptures are looking fantastic!
