Soccer

A big thank you to Mr Zera and Mr Morrissey for the time, care, and dedication you both put into preparing our students for last week's event. It was clear the students gave their very best and were guided beautifully by you both. Thank you for your support and encouragement throughout.

Mrs Zealley, thank you for your ongoing and consistent support of both staff and students at sporting events. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are certainly very grateful.

And Mr Sharp, thank you for your outstanding refereeing. Your presence made for a fantastic experience.

AFL Women's Visit

A couple of weeks ago, we had a visit from four wonderful AFLW stars (Charli Wicksteed, Ana Mulholland, Georgia Stubs and Rebecca Miller). They came to visit our Yr 4 students.

The players shared insights into their AFLW careers and the journey that led them to the elite level. Students then had the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and engage in conversations about life as a professional athlete, including the demands, challenges, and rewards of competing at the highest level.

SSV - Soccer

Congratulations to Jenson Chambers, who progressed to the second stage of the Boys SSV Soccer State Team Trials.

Jenson performed exceptionally well against fierce competition, producing a standout display in goal and preventing many of Victoria's premier strikers from finding the back of the net. His determination, skill, and composure under pressure were outstanding. Despite not being selected to move to the final stage, we are incredibly proud of your efforts, Jenson!

SSV - Netball

Last week, we had Bella Hope and Ablie Tyler head to Shepparton for the Stage 2 SSV netball trials, where both performed impressively against high-level competition.

Albie progressed through to the 3rd and final stage of selection. She competed brilliantly and while she didn’t progress to the final point, her determination and effort are to be commended.

We are very proud of you both!

SSV - Basketball

Last week, Kaley Marsh, Belle Worthington, Poppy Baker, Nash McMaster, and Xave Connolly (who had progressed but was unavailable) competed in the second stage of the SSV basketball trials.

A terrific effort to reach this level- we are very proud of the way you all conducted yourselves and gave your very best! Unfortunately, they didn’t progress this time, but a terrific achievement nonetheless!

SSV - Cricket

Aiden McDermott travelled to Melbourne yesterday for the second stage of the SSV cricket trials. He demonstrated excellent skill and execution, and we eagerly await the outcome of the selection process.

Well done, Aiden!

We would like to sincerely thank the parents, guardians, and supporters for the time, commitment, and encouragement they have provided to the students throughout the SSV trial process. Your support in transporting students to trials, attending events and cheering them on has played an important role in their sporting journeys and is greatly appreciated.

We are incredibly proud of all students for their efforts and the way they represent our school.
