Hair, Makeup, & Costumes
Year 6 Hair and Makeup
On Wednesday 24th June (Week 9), Year 6 students are asked to come to school with their hair and makeup completed for the musical. On this day, students will participate in both the dress rehearsal and the official photo shoot for the production. Aside from the performances themselves, this will be the only occasion where students are required to have their hair and makeup done. Please see the requirements below:
Makeup Requirements
Boys: A light layer of powder is requested to help reduce shine under the stage lights.
Girls: A light application of powder is requested, with optional mascara and blush. This helps prevent students’ faces from appearing washed out under the stage lighting.
Hair Requirements
Girls:
- Yasmin, Grace, Ariana and Charlotte: Two low ponytails or two low braids/plaits.
- Sienna V, Coco and Cadence: One low ponytail or one low braid/plait.
Sienna B: A low bun (either a classic bun or braided bun)
Boys:
Hair may be styled as normal. Students are welcome to use a small amount of gel to help keep hair neat and in place.
- Josh: A windswept, cowboy-inspired hairstyle is preferred. Using mousse or styling product may help achieve this look.
Year 6 Costumes
All Costumes should now be at school in a named plastic bag. Please make sure all costume items are also named. If your child's costume is not at school yet, please provide it by Friday 19th June.
