School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our third School Captain’s newsletter report for 2026 Term Two.
This fortnight has been loaded with special activities, including A Day in May to raise money for the Marcus Rosin Fund to support kids with brain cancer. We have also had District Cross Country and Interschool sports for the Year Sixes where we faced St Monica's Primary.
We had A Day in May on the 21st of May where we raised money through fun activities which included bang a drum, lolly bags, hair spray and general donations. Marcus Rosin was a brave and thoughtful student of ENPS who sadly lost the five year fight to brain cancer, and we wore a splash of yellow to represent kids who fought, or are fighting this terrible disease like Marcus.
Also, the Year Fives have been stepping in for us at our assemblies while we have been at Interschool sports for the past four weeks and we couldn’t be prouder. They have showed bravery, resilience and determination while being able to step up and showcase their leadership skills. Thank you!
We had the filming for our website video on Tuesday an it was so much fun! A big thank you to the filming crew and all of the students that came along to film spoken parts too. We can't wait to see the finished product. Not to mention that we also had an additional Open Day last Friday for prospective families joining us next year, so well done to all of our Year Five and Six tour leaders who helped us make the session run perfectly.
Super well done to everyone who participated in District Cross Country on the 19th of May. They showed perseverance, determination and amazing fitness as they participated in a 2-3km run. And an even bigger well done to everyone who made it to Divisionals this week.
We hope everyone has an great weekend and see you all on Monday!
Your School Captains,
Georgia and Ethan
