Some interesting facts:
Fact: The core issue is a difficulty with phonologiacal processsing, which affects the ability to manipulate the sounds of language. Letter reversals like "b" and "d" are not the defining feature of dyslexia.
Fact: Dyslexia is a language-based disorder, not a visual one. Research shows that vision therapy, eye exercises, and coloured overlays do not address the core phonological processing deficits of dyslexia.
Fact: Dyslexia is a neurological, language-based condition. It is not caused by a lack of effort or poor instruction, though proper teaching methods are crucial for support.
Fact: With proper support, interventions, and strategies, people with dyslexia can achieve academic and personal success.
