Middle School

It’s been a busy and engaging start to the term for our Middle Years students!
Last week, our Year 7 and 8 students were treated to a visit from Brainstorm Productions, who performed The Flipside — an interactive and thought-provoking performance exploring the impact of online behaviour, friendships, and resilience. Students were captivated by the message and had some great discussions afterwards about the importance of kindness and respect in the digital world.
Meanwhile, our Year 9 students participated in a study skills workshop delivered by Elevate Education. With end-of-year exams fast approaching, this session helped students develop effective study habits, organisation techniques and time management strategies to support their success.
Looking ahead, our Year 7 students will be taking part in the Man Cave and Big Sister Experience programs on Friday October 31st. These sessions focus on wellbeing, personal growth, and building positive relationships — a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect, reflect, and develop important life skills.
A reminder to all students and staff that VCE exams will begin in G Block from Tuesday 28th October. During this time, G Block will be out of action, with all classes and the Middle Years Team office relocated to alternative spaces. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding as we support our senior students through this important time.
