Welcome to Term 4
We hope you had a refreshing break and are ready for the exciting final chapter of our school year. Term 4 is always a vibrant and busy time, filled with opportunities for celebration, reflection, and growth. Alongside these special moments, we remain focused on deepening our learning as we continue to introduce new content while also consolidating the knowledge and skills developed throughout the year. We’re looking forward to sharing these various experiences with your children and with you.
Here are some key events to look forward to this term:
F–2 Sports Day: A valuable opportunity for our young students to utilise the skills they have learnt in their PE lessons as they have fun together. The day is designed to build their confidence and resilience. A link will be sent with the program and further details.
Year 2 Sleepover: A special milestone for our Year 2 students, offering a chance to build independence and strengthen social connections in a safe and supportive environment.
Year 3/4 Camp: An exciting time for students to engage in outdoor learning, challenge themselves, and grow in resilience and collaboration.
End-of-Year Celebrations: From end-of-year picnics and shared Christmas Carols to awards assemblies and Year 6 graduation events, we’ll be celebrating our students' achievements, growth, and character development in meaningful and memorable ways.
- Christmas Cards for Our Community: Some of our students have been designing Christmas cards to bless and encourage people in our immediate neighbourhood. These cards will be printed and distributed locally, and we’re also offering packs of ten for families to pre-order and share with their friends and neighbours. Keep an eye out for more details about how to place your order.
End of Term 3
Year 6 Debate Team Triumphs at Parliament House
On the first Saturday of the holidays, our Year 6 Debate Team competed against Pembroke at Parliament House and emerged victorious. It was a remarkable opportunity, and the students were justifiably proud of their achievement. Congratulations to Zoe, Grace, Simi, Tanisha, and Charis on their success. A heartfelt thank you to Mr Lee and Mrs Wicks for their dedicated coaching throughout the year.
Year 5 Camp at Willow Creek
In the final week of Term 3, our Year 5 students enjoyed a three-day camp at Willow Creek. They thrived in a range of team-building activities and embraced new challenges such as surfing, kayaking, and raft-building. Their behaviour was exemplary, and they were an absolute delight to take away.
As always, thank you for your continued support and partnership. Please keep an eye on upcoming newsletters and communication from your child’s teacher for further details and dates.
Let’s make Term 4 a joyful and enriching conclusion to the year.
