The Joy in Changes -“Change is the only constant.” 

Term 4 in our preschool environment always brings a sense of momentum. It’s a time when we begin to see our preschoolers preparing - both excitedly and naturally - for the next chapter in their learning journey: the Foundation year. 

As a team, we remain grounded in the here and now, while also being mindful of the changes ahead. Our learning spaces are thoughtfully planned to support children through this transition, offering rich possibilities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and connection. 

We believe in giving children the time and space to explore their ideas and develop skills at their own pace. Through this, they learn to make sense of their world in a safe, supportive environment. 

Our journey includes: 

• Literacy through PreLit and bookmaking, where children bring their own stories to life. 

   

• Numeracy, embedded in everyday play, encourages children to explore, count, compare, and problem-solve. 

   

• Music and PE nurture creativity, rhythm, coordination, and whole-body movement. 

   

• Christian Studies, where we share stories of God’s love, pray together, and learn that we can talk to God anytime, anywhere. 

   

• Child Safety Curriculum, where we explore safe environments, trusted adults, feelings, and making safe choices. 

   

• Kimochi Curriculum, helping children understand that all feelings are okay, and kindness matters even in challenging moments. 

   

• Outdoor play is a vital part of learning, where children build friendships, connect across age groups, and strengthen their sense of community. 

As we look ahead, we continue to walk alongside our preschoolers—nurturing their growth, modelling empathy, encouraging resilience, and celebrating the joy in every little change. 

Because change isn’t just coming—it’s already here. And in every moment, there is beauty to be found. 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) 

This verse is a reminder for families that even as children grow and change, God is always ahead of them with good plans.
