Our New Art and Design Studio Now Open
We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Art and Design Studio for Secondary students on Monday.
Located on Level 1, above the Home Economics and Food & Hospitality rooms (in the former Library and Year 12 Common Room), this impressive new space includes two classrooms — Hillside and Beachside.
The Studio features:
- Gallery-style exhibition walls to showcase and inspire creativity
- A dedicated pottery room with a potter’s wheel and kiln
- A spray-painting room
Generous storage to maintain an organised and tidy learning environment
This significant redevelopment has doubled the Art and Design learning spaces available to our Secondary students, providing even greater opportunities for creative exploration and expression.
We look forward to officially launching the new Studio at the Year 12 Art Exhibition on Friday, 31 October.

New enrolment places are available ELC to Year 6
On Monday Andrew Linke, announced some exciting new enrolment opportunities.
Timeline of new enrolment opportunities:
From 2026 onwards, additional places will be available for 3-year-olds to join our Early Learning Centre at Brooklyn Park. This expansion supports the growing number of Foundation places from 2027.
From 2027 onwards, both Brooklyn Park and South Plympton campuses will commence with three Foundation classes, each with around 19 students (up from two classes). This represents 14 additional new Foundation places available at each campus, every year.
In 2028 at the South Plympton Campus Junior School only, 14 additional places will be on offer for new students only (not available for campus transfers) in each year level from Year 2 through to and including Year 6.
South Plympton Junior School will complete its growth through to Year 6 for the start of 2028.
Brooklyn Park Junior School will grow progressively each successive year, as further building developments will be undertaken to facilitate this transition.
Places available in Year 10 to 12 from 2026
We have limited places available from Year 10 to 12 commencing in 2026 in our Secondary School.

OSHC Program
The YMCA OSHC Program provides after-school and vacation care for students from Foundation to Year 6, conveniently located at both Brooklyn Park and South Plympton Campuses.
Operating hours are:
- After School Care Monday to Friday | 3:10pm to 6:00pm
- Vacation Care Monday to Friday | 7.30am to 6:00pm
- Pupil Free Days | 7.30am to 6:00pm
