Meet Shalini!

Welcoming Shalini from New Caledonia!

We are delighted to welcome Shalini Minatchy, an 18-year-old student from New Caledonia, who will be completing a short internship at Caulfield Junior College from 17 November to 5 December.

Shalini is currently in her first year of preparatory studies for engineering school and is joining us to improve her English and experience Australian culture. During her stay, she will be supporting classroom activities and immersing herself in our bilingual school community.

One of our families has kindly offered to host Shalini for her first week, but we are still looking for one or two host families to welcome her for the remaining weeks of her stay.

In exchange for accommodation and meals, Shalini is happy to assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework, and light household tasks.

She describes herself as responsible, punctual, and caring, and is looking forward to sharing everyday family life in Australia.
