News of the Week

Dear Parents and Friends,
PRINCIPAL'S NEWS
Fr Andrew and Fr Huy
It is with a heavy heart that I share with our community that both Fr Andrew and Fr Huy are leaving the parish at the end of the year.
Fr Andrew is moving to the Flemington -Kensington Parish and Fr Huy is still awaiting confirmation as to where his next parish will be.
Personally, Fr Andrew has been a wonderful friend and mentor in my time here at St Brigid’s. He is welcoming and always asks after our families and shows great care and compassion for all of our St Brigid’s family community. He has made the Sacramental programs and our visits to Mass, both educational and engaging for all. He always makes us feel extremely welcome when we attend Parish Masses. We will farewell Fr Andrew and Fr Huy at the end of this term.
Colour Run
A big thank you to Hayley and her band of helpers who made our Colour Run such a fun afternoon for the children. I believe the parents quite enjoyed sliming and colouring the children! $7.000 raised to improve our outdoor areas - cubby houses, picnic tables etc.
