Year 7 Art
Our Year 7 Art students have been cooking up a storm in the art room with their Giant Food Sculpture project! As part of our sculpture unit, students were inspired by their favourite foods — from sushi and oversized burgers to gigantic jam tarts. Using papier-mâché and mixed media, they explored scale, form, and texture to transform everyday snacks into larger-than-life artworks. The results are both impressive and delicious-looking — a playful celebration of imagination, craftsmanship, and, of course, food! Make sure you visit our upcoming Showcase exhibition to see our GIANT food in real life!

VCE Visual Communication Design (Unit 4)
VCE Visual Communication Design (VCD) Units 4 students worked hard over the past six months to follow a Design Process to identify appropriate and relevant Design Solutions for their Design Problems. They have researched, observed, drawn, shared feedback, presented, 3D modelled, made prototypes, and annotated all throughout this process. Please take a look at their well-polished Design Solutions below that addressed their detailed design criteria outlined in their Design Briefs.

Vinnies News
The ASSIST A STUDENT APPEAL-Social Outreach beyond our borders.
On Wednesday 29 October, Vinnies will be running the annual Assist A Student Appeal. This fundraiser aims to educate children in less developed countries throughout Southeast Asia. Our goal is for each Pastoral group to raise the $80 needed to educate a child for one whole year.
You can learn more about this program by clicking on the link below.

Students are asked to wear appropriate casual clothes ($3) and buy a sausage ($2) on this day.
Christmas Toy Donations
Following the donation of gifts from the Year 12 students to the CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE, we are now seeking donations from ALL students in the Nazareth community.
A Santa sack will be placed in each of the Pastoral homerooms in the hope that, over the coming weeks, these will be filled to the brim! We are seeking new toys for all ages (0-18), and they should be unwrapped so that the Vinnies can place tags on each donation. We encourage everyone to get on board and donate to our Giving Tree.
On behalf of the 2025 Vinnies, we would like to thank everyone who has supported our fundraising events this year. Without the support of the entire school community, we would not be able to achieve what we have 😊
