Liberal Lions take control after landslide election!

In a landslide result in the Grade 5/6 election, the Liberal Lions have taken control with Lucy M being appointed Prime Minister of the senior building.

 

The Liberal Lions defeated Ellectris, and the Banana Council to form Government in a huge result for the Lucy led party.

 

The election concluded our Integrated unit in Government, Civics & Citizenship. We were lucky enough to have all of the Grade 3-4 children come over and assist with voting. It was quite eye opening having 26 parties handing out how to vote cards on the basketball court!

 

Teddy Bear's Picnic A Huge Success

Our Grade 6 students, yesterday, were lucky enough to share a Teddy Bear's picnic with their Foundation buddy, out on the oval.

 

I'm sure there were a lot of thoughts flooding back to when they were in Foundation, and they replicated a number of wonderful memories.

 

Donvale Senior Girls reach Divisional round!

Yesterday culminated the Summer Round Robin carnival with all of our senior students taking part in one of the five sport days across our District.

 

It must be noted that our Senior Girls Cricket team have qualified for the Divisional Round of competition after defeating St Gregs by 16 runs in the final.

 

The Divisional game, will be held in Term 4, and will be against a school from the Templestowe District.

 

A massive thank you needs to go out to all of the parent helpers that assisted with all of the sports. Your help makes the day run smoother and all of the staff and students truly appreciate
