Hoping you and your family had a Blessed Easter.

We are in the liturgical season of Easter.

The Easter season is a time of great joy and hope for Christians worldwide. It gives us the opportunity to reflect on the triumph of light over darkness and life over death.

The Easter season lasts for forty days, mirroring the forty days Jesus spent in the wilderness after his resurrection, during which he appeared to his disciples and instructed them in the ways of the kingdom of God.

This season provides an opportunity for continued reflection on the significance of Christ's resurrection and continues to be a time where you can deepen your relationship with God.

We concluded Term 1 commemorating the Passion of our Lord. The Prayer session was truly amazing. Our students created a meaningfully depiction of the journey our Lord made during Holy Week. Thank you to all the families who attended our moving presentation.

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

We are your 2024 Social Justice Captains.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your donations and participation in the Caritas Fundraising last term. $1400.00 was raised - AMAZING!!!!!!

We were blown away by our school community's generosity.

Late last term we met with Deacon Rev Poukesi Vakauta to discuss an initiative that he is  working to support a Catholic school in Tonga where he is collecting pre loved books and sporting equipment.

We believe this initiative will make a big difference in the lives of students who do not have  access to adequate resources at their school.

We would love our school community to get behind this initiative and donate

  • Preloved good quality children’s books or educational books
  • Preloved good quality sporting equipment

Can items be brought to school on Friday May 3rd.

We are looking forward to seeing all your donations and support!

Thank you!

Sincerely Yours,

Lyla De Luca and Noah Pitruzzello

Congratulations to our Year 3 students who have received their Sacrament of Reconciliation! Our students' commitment to this important sacrament of healing and reconciliation is truly commendable. May the grace and forgiveness they have received during this sacrament strengthen their relationship with God and inspire them to live lives of faith, love, and mercy. The teachers were very proud of their students' dedication to their spiritual journey.

At the end of last term we celebrated Harmony Day, this was a special day for children to learn about and celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and cultural harmony. Harmony Day gave us the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to building a more inclusive and harmonious community where everyone feels respected, valued, and celebrated for who they are. 4C have shared some Acrostic poems that they created on Harmony Day

Lord You create all people in your image.

We thank you for the astonishing variety of races and cultures in this world.

Enrich our lives by ever widening circles of friendship and show us your presence in those who differ most from us,

until our knowledge of your love is made perfect in our love for all your children.

Amen
