Kingston Livability Survey

Closes Sunday 24 March 2024

Kingston Council is conducting a Liveability Survey to understand what matters most to people in their local neighbourhood. The survey is set out in two parts:

  • Tell us about your ideal neighbourhood
  • Tell us about your current neighbourhood

People of all ages are invited to participate to ensure we get a broad range of views. Feedback will be used to help guide planning and investment prioritisation in Kingston over the next four years.

We currently have low participation from our 15-24 age demographic - and that's where you come in! Our consultants Place Score (who are hosting the survey) have suggested reaching out to our local schools, having had success in past with teachers asking students to complete the 10-15 minute survey in a geography or social studies (or similar) class.

Given feedback will help shape the future of Kingston, we feel it's very important to hear from our youth. If you feel there is an opportunity to have students complete the survey at school, please let me know!

The survey is available online. We also have some hard-copy surveys and postcards with QR codes available upon request. The survey closes on Sunday 24 March, 2024.
