Year 6 Leaders Report

Working Together

Each week, our Year 6 students will develop their journalistic skills by writing a report for our newsletter. This will share what they have been learning as a part of their Year 6 leadership sessions. This week it is the turn of Eve H (56MS) and Teddy (56A).

Harmony Week

Hello, hallo, ciao, bonjour and hej! That's only a few of the many languages we were hearing last week. From Scottish dances to learning how to do the Capoeira (Brazilian martial arts), this was the most amazing experience!

A quote from Liam O’Brien (5/6MS)

“Absolute fun. So many awesome and interactive activities and lots of delicious foods, and you can’t forget about all the super great performances.”

Buddies

The year fives have dived straight into buddies by completing a “Who am I?” booklet and a reading activity. Here are Wiktor and Jake to talk about some things they enjoyed. Wiktor- “ Buddies had been really fun because you get to be a leader and, about two weeks ago, we did an activity where you read to your buddie and then they drew their favourite character in the book.” Jake- ”You don’t have to boss the preps around but you just go with the flow.”
