Reach for the stars!

A few weeks ago we shared an achievement of one of our parents (Chrissie Davies - ADHD conference) and now it is time to showcase the talents of one of our students.

Harrison Coppock is one of the very first students at ACS, starting as a little Preppie when the school first opened its doors back in 2018.

Over this time we have watched Harrison blossom as an individual in all aspects of his learning, but especially so in Performing Arts. He has consistently committed himself to building his skills and following his passion in musical theatre.

Just this week Harrison has signed an official contract to kickstart what is now a professional career!

Harrison has been cast in the childrens' ensemble for Tosca by Opera Australia which will be performed in front of thousands of people at Margaret Court Arena in May. It is his first professional performance. The season runs for 8 shows (2 private, 4 public) and Harrison will be performing in four of them.

Harrison has been involved in musical theatre with CentreStage Performing Arts Academy since 2020 and has appeared in Little Mermaid, Annie Jnr and Shrek Jnr. He was selected by Centrestage to travel to London in August for theatre training on the West End and will preform at Her Majesty's Theatre.

Harrison volunteers at CentreStage and has helped with costumes and set production for Priscilla and The Music Man. He also receives training at Parallax performing arts in Jazz, tap and technical dance training and is with the boy band 'Breakers'.

Last year Harrison helped raise approximately $25000 for Barwon Health by performing in Sleeping Beauty by Medimime.

Over the summer school holidays he performed for the Armstrong Creek community each Thursday at the Waralily Cockatoos' Open Mic night.

What an impressive list of accomplishments Harrison. We are very proud of you and excited to see you in action.

Don't forget about us here at ACS when you become a huge international star!!!
