2025- Foundation Enrolment Information
ACTION NOW REQUIRED FROM FAMILIES
This year all schools across Outer Eastern Melbourne (including our school) are using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents. VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2025.
VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.
To commence an online enrolment: Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.
ANZAC Day Service- School Leaders
On Tuesday 23rd April, our School Captains represented our school to lay a wreath at the 1000 Steps ANZAC Day Memorial Service for Schools.
We were extremely proud of the integrity with which our student leaders represented our school. On Wednesday 24th April, our School Captains also led a service for students within their classrooms.
School Counsellor Appointment
As you would be aware, over the term break we undertook a recruitment process to find a new school counsellor to support wellbeing strategies across our school. Following the completion of this process, we are pleased to welcome Victoria (Vicky) Procyk to our school team.
Vicky is a qualified and experienced counsellor, who also offers private sessions through her connections with Inspire Health. Vicky has now been working with our school community over the past three weeks, and has already achieved huge levels of trust and positivity in her session with students, staff, and families.
Vicky is on-site at our school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of each week. If you wish to reach out to Vicky, her contact details are:

New Junior Playground Now Open
If you have a child enrolled at our school, we are positive that you would have heard many excited stories about the opening day of our new school playground.
Despite the rain on the first day of opening, the photos below show us how much fun everyone is having on the new playground.
John Monash Science School- Open Night
As a school, we are fortunate to partner with John Monash Science School (JMSS) throughout the year, involving selected year Six students taking part in immersion and extension programs by visiting the Clayton campus.
This coming Tuesday 7th May, JMSS will be holding an open night for prospective students. Even if your child is not in Year Six, this is a wonderful opportunity to see an amazing select-entry government school in action.
If you wish to attend, please complete the JMSS registration below:
