Good Afternoon Parents/Carers

NAPLAN

NAPLAN will conclude today.  Thank you Mrs Abbott, Mr Wilcox and Ms Overell for all your behind the scenes work to ensure NAPLAN went off so smoothly.  Results will be distributed in due course. 

Science & Engineering Challenge

On Friday 22nd March Years 4,5 & 6 students will travel to Tamworth for the Science Discovery Day.  It is a day of co-operation, thinking outside the box, trial and error and enjoyment. 

Excursions to Hill End and Dubbo

Expression of Interests were sent home last week for our two major excursions. Please return these notes as soon as possible.

Mobile Phone

The school has a mobile phone. This phone will be operational between the hours of 8.30am - 3.30pm.  Staff will also take the phone with them on all school excursions.  The number is 0488 248 250. 

Harmony Day

We will acknowledge Harmony Day on Thursday 21st March.  We encourage students to wear something orange.  Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.

Personal Items from home

We have noticed that some students are bringing foot balls, soccer balls and other personal items from home to school.  Please note that students are not permitted to bring these items to school.  We have many different balls and equipment for students to play with in break time.

School Assembly

We will be holding our next School Assembly on the last day of Term 1, Friday 12th April at 2:15pm.  K/1/2B will be performing an item for everyone's enjoyment.  All welcome to attend.

As we head towards the end of Term 1 we still have lots of exciting activities to participate in, Easter Hat parade & Colour Run.
