Deakin is the only university in Australia offering an accredited Bachelor of Forensic Science degree.

The course exposes students to the full scope of modern forensic science, from simulated crime scenes to courtroom presentations.  There is a strong focus on practical training, and students graduate with the skills needed to confidently examine, interpret and present forensic evidence.  This degree is comprehensive and flexible, and the course covers a wide range of disciplines including illicit drugs analysis, DNA analysis and more.  Students can elect to customise their degree to suit their interests by selecting to specialise in forensic biology or forensic chemistry.
