Children in Year 1 will take part in the Phonics Screening Check on Tuesday 26th August. This assessment will be completed by your child's classroom teacher with each child individually. The assessment takes about 10 minutes. The main purpose of the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check is to provide your child’s teacher with information which will allow them to plan for your child’s learning.
