5/6 Community Dinner – A Delicious Celebration of Giving
On Thursday 3rd July, our Year 5/6 students proudly hosted a Community Dinner as part of the Passions and Pathways program. In the week leading up to the event, students were busy in the kitchen, cooking up a storm!
This special initiative was designed to support our school community as we head into the Winter holidays, by preparing and sharing hot, healthy, and delicious meals with our families. The intention behind the project is simple – to bring people together through food and care.
We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from local organisations, including Bendigo Foodshare, St Vinnies, IGA Long Gully, Golden Square Woolworths, and Meat Matters Eaglehawk. Please consider supporting these businesses and showing appreciation for their ongoing kindness - especially our locally owned providers.

On the night, students took on the role of hosts and servers, proudly offering table service so families could sit back and enjoy the meal together. In addition, frozen meals were included in Friday’s food boxes for families to take home.
We hope everyone enjoyed the delicious treats as much as we enjoyed preparing them!
