Junior School News

Welcome back to Term 3! Our Junior School students have settled in beautifully and are ready for new learning opportunities and adventures. The Prep cohort warmly welcome their new Prep teacher, Ms Ashfield. Ms Ashfield has already made a wonderful start, bringing warmth, energy and a love of learning to the classroom. The Prep students have done a fantastic job adjusting to the change and have embraced Term 3 with their usual enthusiasm and resilience. Read on to find out what some of our students are looking forward to this term.
Prep
Jack: I'm looking forward to reading. I love reading with my mum at night.
Rory: I'm looking forward to writing. I want to get better so I can write a card to Santa.
Marnie: I'm looking forward to making new friends. I want to play hide-and-seek with them.
Margot: I'm looking forward to making art for the Art Show!
Year 1
Florence: I'm looking forward to learning new sounds and Chitter Chatter Chants. This week we learned about 'Foy's Jelly Joys' and 'Oink Oink'.
Charlie: I'm looking forward to Mandarin- I love doing the Chinese activities.
Georgia: I'm looking forward to Art. I love making things!
Year 2
Lucas: This term, I'm looking forward to Maths. I want to get better at multiplication and division.
Seb: I want to get better at multiplication too! I like playing maths games in class.
Scarlett: I'm looking forward to doing another project on my computer. I like using Google Slides.
