From School Council

Outside School Hours Care program

The BPS School Council is seeking your input into the needs of the parent/carer community for out of school hours care as the contract with our current out of school hourscare provider (OSHClub) will expire at the end of this year.

School Council will soon be undertaking an Expression of Interest process where EOIs from suppliers will be evaluated against a set of criteria. The School Council will consider a number of factors when making their decision which will include; adherence to the Child Safety Standards, specifications, quality, and time-frames required by the school.

Your feedback will be helpful in supporting the procurement process.

Please follow the link below to complete the short survey.

Student Dress Code Policy

The Education Department has recently instructed all school councils to review their uniform policies with a focus on cost and affordability for families. Specifically, they have asked schools to remove any requirements for school logos on 'bottom' clothing items such as shorts and track pants.

Fortunately, we already had the option to purchase generic 'bottom' items so no changes to our uniform were required.

It is however a timely opportunity to ask all families to revisit the BPS uniform policy to ensure that they understand the requirements of the dress code. Please feel free to email Natalie Shanahan with any queries.
