" Every child matters. Every moment counts!"
Dear Families
Twilight School - 20 August
The staff are excited about showcasing the wonderful curriculum the children take part in each day. Please reply in Operoo by next Friday 8 August as to whether your child/ren will be at school from 4.00pm until 6.00pm. Thank you to the families that have already done so as this helps the teachers to organise their lessons for the afternoon.
100 Days of School for Preps
Last Friday our Prep students celebrated 100 days of school by enjoying many activities focused on '100'.
In their time at school the children have interacted with their peers and teachers, fostering social and emotional development as they learn to collaborate and uphold our school values. They have participated in many experiences that lay a strong foundation for their academic learning and growth. It is wonderful to see their confidence and independence in both the classroom and on the playground. Congratulations.

Farewell
I take this opportunity to thank Mrs Eadaoin Lorigan and extend our very best wishes on the safe arrival of her third child in the up and coming weeks. We will miss her vibrant personality with the staff and her gentle mannerism with the children. May your new bundle of joy bring the family much fun and laughter. Thank you!

Past Student Success
Our former student Neev B recently secured 1st place at the Victorian State Under-14 Chess Tournament held in Bacchus Marsh! The tournament spanned four long days with seven intense games. Neev's determination to do his best is his main driver. Well done Neev.
Congratulations also to Anakin L who only today received an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award Year 7.
Sincerely yours
Margaret Carlei
Principal
