Retelling familiar stories through small world play, art and dramatisations

Pre-Writing:  

Signing in on arrival; writing their names on their work

Creating letters and letter shapes with loose parts and play dough

Building muscle strength from core muscles, to shoulder and arm muscles and to hand and finger muscles

Writing and posting letters to family and friends

STEM :  For the children to develop their understanding and recognition of numbers from 1 to 10
