Malvern Emergency Food Program

We were very fortunate today to have Snr Sgt Neil and Trish from the Malvern Emergency Food Program (MEFP) visit our School Assembly to launch our Winter Food Drive. The MEFP has been operating out of the Malvern and Prahran police stations for over 30 years, providing a vital, community-driven safety net for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

The Program has shared with us a list of essential items needed to create food packs, which are designed to provide nourishment for a couple of days. Small, shelf-stable items are ideal. Please send any contributions to school with your child, as they will be collected in the classroom.

In Week 6, we will measure the donations to see which class has created the longest line of goods. Afterwards, all contributions will be passed on to the Program.

Thank you for your generous support!
