Principal's Report 

 We, at Miners Rest Primary School, would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects and thank the Wadawurrung people. May we share your land. We promise to look after it, as well as the animals and people too.

Staffing News

As we enjoy settling in to the term at kinder, OSHC and school, we wish Gemma Hooper all the very best as she commences maternity leave. Gemma has built close relationships with staff and children across the kindergarten setting and we wish Gemma, Simon and their family every happiness as they await the arrival of their new baby.

Uniforms

A big thank you to our families for promoting and supporting our School Uniform Policy. 

Our beautiful school beanies are still available from the Administration Office.

Gymnastics

We are very excited to be offering a Foundation to Year Six Program this term at school. Supported with coaches and quality equipment in our beautiful gymnasium, the program will support all children across the school with targeted teaching and enhance an already quality Physical Education Program.

Springfest

This annual event is just around the corner and we are proudly a beneficiary from this significant fundraiser. If you are able to volunteer some time to support our school, please call/visit our Administration Office and put your name forward to help out. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
