LEAP Writing Students Take on "Write a Book in a Day" Challenge

Our talented LEAP Writing students are spending this term preparing to take part in the Write a Book in a Day competition, an exciting creative challenge that also raises vital funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project.

At the end of the term, in just 10 hours, students will plan, write, and illustrate an original story, all while working collaboratively in teams. Along the way, they’ll be deepening their understanding of narrative structure, character development, and the creative writing process. But this challenge is about more than just writing, it’s about making a difference.

This year, we’re going bigger and better with four unique teams involved, each bringing their own energy, creativity, and flair to the project. And while the writing will be intense, our students are just as committed to the fundraising effort, helping support children with cancer and the incredible work of The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Let’s cheer on our young authors as they write with heart and purpose!
