YEAR 12
WEEK 4: KEY INFORMATION
YEAR 12
WEEK 4: KEY INFORMATION
In Social Emotional Learning (SEL) last week, students had the chance to complete research about their future career path as many may still be unsure. Questions to consider include:
- Does your child have the right subjects for their chosen career?
- What career can they look into with the subjects they are studying?
- Should your child be struggling, is there another way to have the career they want without the added pressure of Year 12 requirements?
Several websites were made accessible during this session for students to check out. Mrs Ambrose - College Careers Counsellor can be contacted, should questions arise.
Internal Assessment 2s are well underway, please refer to the assessment planner. This long weekend should be a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the tasks at hand whilst also enjoying some downtime and relaxation. Prioritising studies over work to ensure success should be of prime importance.
As we start Term 2, it may be a good time to start looking for available university grants and scholarships for next year. Information can be found on the university websites. Students may need letters of recommendation or refernces, this would give them enough time to organise it.
