WEEK 4: KEY INFORMATION 


LAST WEEK

Students spent last week reviewing their report cards, updating their academic trackers and setting goals for Term 2. I would encourage you to engage in conversations with your child about their goals and how they aim to be successful this term. 


THIS WEEK

This week, our pastoral focus will be on supporting the young men in our cohort around behaviour and their academic choices. We look forward to supporting them to make prosocial decisions both inside and outside the classroom and celebrating their achievements.

LOOKING AHEAD 

Week 5

Friday, 17 May: All Year 9 students will participate in an informative and engaging presentation by special guest presenters: Melinda Tankard Reist and Daniel Principe. 

 

This session is designed specifically for young men and women and will be delivered in a unique gender-specific environment. 

 

DISCUSSION TOPICS INCLUDE:

1. Rescripting the Narrative; championing boys to become good men

2: Challenging Sexualisation; supporting young women to 'shout-out' sexualisation
