COLLEGE

UPDATE

Term 2: Week 4

WELCOME TO WEEK 4!

LAST WEEK (3)

  • TCS Cross Country took place on Friday at St Mary’s Catholic College. Congratulations to those students who participated and have now qualified to attend the Peninsula trials.

THIS WEEK (4)

  • Monday is a Public Holiday for Labour Day. Enjoy the long weekend with family and we look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday.

  • Assessment calendars are now available through the College portal. Please read this over with your child/ren to ensure assessment deadlines are met.

  • We look forward to celebrating our Mother’s on Tuesday at the College Assembly. All students are reminded to be in formal uniform for this event. Students involved in sports or HPE are to bring their sports uniforms to school.

  • We look forward to sending out enrolment offers to our families this Friday. It has been a wonderful experience to meet families who wish to be part of our wonderful community at St Mary's.

  • Over the past few weeks, we have focused on two guiding principles: dignity and perseverance. Congratulations to those students who have received merits in recognition of practising and modelling these two guiding principles.

  • We have noticed an increasing number of parents/carers' contact details are not up-to-date. We must have the correct contact information including phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, and additional contact details for student collections. To update your details, please email: smw.enrolments@cns.catholic.edu.au

  • Attendance is a critical component of continued learning and human development in schools. The table below highlights how missing school days can add up ultimately impacting the continuity of education, leading to disengagement. If your child/ren is having difficulty with attendance please reach out to our pastoral team for support. Attendance matters! Every child, on time, every day!
