Wellbeing
This week the Year 3/4 students have been revising The Westmead Feelings Strength Bar, thinking about different events that match the different levels of that emotion. Sai has given different examples for the emotions in the red, yellow and green areas of the bar. Olivia has shown the emotions by the different faces she has drawn.
Taking notes
Studentshave been learning how to take notes to retell a story. In class students listened to their peers talk about what they did on their holidays. As they were listening they wrote down keywords on sticky notes. The students were then able to use their notes to retell the events of their partners holiday.
Year 4/5
The game Greed has diamonds and emeralds. If you get 3 of a kind, you get more points. It was a good game to play with my group. Emmastacia
Greed is a game of chance and probability. If you have lots of points then you will be happy. But with one more roll, you can become sad because you could lose all your points. Greed is a really good game to play with your friends. Raffaele and Cody
This week in Maths, we have been playing and enjoying a dice game called Greed. Greed is a very fun game of chance. There are six dice and each dice has six different letters on it which spell out the word GREED. Each letter is worth a different amount of money and once you get 5000 you win! But you can lose all that if you risk it for more money. I love playing Greed so much! Aleisha
We learnt how to play a game called Greed. The game of all or nothing. It is a game of chance and probability. We loved playing Greed. Shamus and Tristan
We played Greed during our Maths sessions this week. Greed is a game of chance. We all had so much fun when playing Greed. One minute we were winning and the next minute we were losing. Tiffany and Azariah
Greed is a game of chance. It is a fun dice game of all or nothing. It’s a game where you have to be willing to take a risk. Stephanie and Lauren
Greed is a game of chance. It’s a great game that is pretty easy and fun to play. It teaches you how to be greedy as well. We played if for Maths this week and you should buy and try playing this game! All you have to do is get to 5000 points - easy right? No! You need to pick a letter or you can lose your points. Natalie
Greed is a game of chance. You need to get 5000 points to start scoring. One thing that we liked was that if you rolled four diamonds in one roll, you got 1000 points! We felt a bit nervous and also confident while we were playing this game. Brenton and Callix

Wellbeing ~ Lunchtime Clubs
Thanks to our Lunchtime Club leader, Roery Villegas in Year 6, the Minecraft Club re- opened its doors yesterday and was back and running for our students from Years 2-6. Roery was asked why Lunchtime Clubs are important...."Sometimes kids might not want to play outside, but spend time inside with their friends." Judging by the smiles below, he may be on to something! Each Wednesday, all students (Years 2-6) welcome!!
