Always was, always will be

Acknowledgement of Country
Create your own Acknowledgement of Country. The important three points to include are:
- Acknowledging Country
- The name of the traditional owners (eg. Wurundjeri Woiwurrung People of the Kulin Nation)
- Paying respects to Elders
Thank you to KESO Kira Peters (Wurundjeri/Taungurung) for sharing the above advice!
Personalise it and make it your own: What does your heart say? What do you notice about Country today? What are you grateful for? What is the intention of day after the Acknowledgement and how can you link it in?
Learning on Country
Can you find the birds and the sun? What type of birds do you think Uncle Glenn has painted?
Woiwurrung Word of the Week
Wawa (hello)! We have recently learnt the words for Baban (mother) and Maman mamum (father) and Bubup (baby or child).
Can you say hello mum, hello dad and hello child in Woiwurrung?
Thanks to the KESO team for sharing these Woiwurrung words and slides with us.
