Welcome Back!

What a fantastic start to term 2. The students have settled in really well and are off to a flying start. We have a lot to look forward to this term, here is a quick snapshot of what is coming up:

• Week 2 - Body Safety Australia Sessions and ANZAC Day service
• Week 3 - School Cross Country
• Week 4 - Kids Helpline Cyber Safety Session
• Week 5 - Education Week, STEM Activities, Excursion to Barmah National Park and Kyabram Fauna Park
• Week 6 - Live From The Larynx Performance
• Week 9 - Kings Birthday, Pupil Free Day, 3/4 Winter Sports & Inquiry Showcase
• Week 11 - Parent Teacher Interviews, Class Party & end of term.

Book Study

This term we have started a book study. Group 1 are reading 'The Wild Robot' and Group 2 are reading 'Nate The Great'. It is great to see how engaged the students are as we develop our reading and comprehension skills.

Inquiry

For Term 2 our whole school focus is Sustainability. Within this topic, 3/4's will take a closer look at understanding the importance of habitats for plants and animals, and how it encourages students to think and act sustainably when they interact with the environment.
